Single Trip Coverage
If traveling outside of your province only once, then this might be the right coverage for you.
Multi-Trip
- Coverage Ideal for Snowbirds, frequent travelers or day trips outside of your province
- Covers an unlimited number of trips during the policy year
- Trips can be up to 15 or 30 days long
Coverage options include:
- Emergency medical coverage only
- Emergency medical coverage with trip cancellation
With trip cancellation insurance, you’ll also have the option to purchase “Trip Delay” insurance.
In the event that you're delayed 12 or more hours, you'll receive enhanced coverage which includes:
- Up to $500 /day in out-of-pocket expenses
- $200 for entertainment expenses;
- and Same class travel to rejoin your tour or group
Trip cancellation coverage also extends to baggage loss, damage and delay.
When purchasing emergency medical coverage, medical questions are asked to determine if you can buy a plan. If you're 60 or older, there are additional medical questions that may affect the policy price.
